A unique ‘oil print’ part of the “Golden Age” series from the 1990’s. This work was heavily influenced by Phulkari, an embroidery style specific to Punjab, and which means to stitch flowers. Large colour blocks with oil were applied to paper in layers, working wet-on-wet, I scraped back images with the edge of nails and X-acto knife. A technique which complements the delicate detail and embroidery on traditional Phulkaris.

This print is unique and comes unframed.
